Links Golf Cup
Links Golf Cup run professionally organised golf events for amateur golfers. The events are played in different formats and are staged at some of the most prestigious courses in the UK and abroad. The Links Golf Cup provides a unique opportunity to play 'bucket list' courses with like-minded golfers in a professionally run event.
Scope:
The scope
The scope was to evolve the site to accommodate the numerous new events that the Links Golf Cup were organising throughout the year. A new website was required to allow the organisation to continue to grow as well as to accept online payments via PayPal and Stripe.
Design and functionality
The structure of the website was reconfigured to allow for the new events, jumbo navigation was developed so that the pages can be easily accessed, and wireframes were designed for content layout purposes.
The eCommerce journey was created and streamlined to allow users to add events directly to their basket from the event page.
The result
Working with Links Golf Cup for over ten years, the company has grown from running two events per annum in Scotland to over twenty throughout the UK, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates. The events are always fully subscribed with golfers added to waiting lists.
